Ian Bollons: Chairman

Ian has over thirty years experience in the London Market and is a Consultant to the international Insurance and Reinsurance Market specialising in problem solving and business development. He is part of TurnStone Group as the Chairman of the business and recently has been a Run off manager for Lloyd's Syndicates, Consulting to advanced Capital Solutions on various projects. He has also assisted in the formation of a new Lloyd's Managing Agency and Syndicates where he has been approved by Lloyd's as the Managing Director.

He has particular experience in Project Reviews, Underwriting, Claims and Management Reviews and Litigation Support, Insurance Advisory for projects and then also Technical Audits which include Planning, Implementation and Control.

Steve Bond is a claims expert with a growing reputation in the Lloyd's insurance market, and is an authority in US employers' responsibility.

Steve Bond: Managing Director

Steve has spent the past thirty years in the London Market dealing with all types of insurance and reinsurance claims. Prior to setting up TurnStone, Steve was with Axiom Claims Consultancy for twelve years, which culminated in a senior position managing the run-off of a portfolio for the London Managing General Agent of a major Japanese reinsurer. Steve has specific experience from an insurance and reinsurance claims perspective including assumed inspections and reviews of client's inward and outward ultimate book exposures, assessing IBNR and negotiating commutations.

Steve's knowledge and lengthy experience of US Casualty, Property and Auto business was used to assist a US based reinsurer in Dallas, Texas where he was seconded to head a team responsible for reducing a large backlog of claims and helped to update their systems and procedures.

Steve has spent his most recent years specialising in Binding Authority audits based in the US, Canada and Europe working on behalf of clients worldwide. Steve developed a Binding Authority lineslip health check review that included the training of junior client staff being involved onsite through to reporting.

Chris Larcombe: Senior Auditor

Chris has eighteen years reinsurance experience in the international and London markets in claims, inspections, and as run-off manager for an international book of business. He has carried out numerous reinsurance treaty inspections in Europe and North America. Inspections have made multi-million pound savings for clients by revealing that claims by cedants are not within the terms and conditions of the reinsurance treaties, or that premium is under-declared.

Inspections and litigation support cases have included property and business interruption, public and employers liability including APH, personal accident, workers compensation, marine, aviation, professional indemnity, D&O, motor, personal stop loss, commercial mortgage indemnity, and various others. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, and has contributed articles to Reinsurance magazine. He also has a good knowledge of French, German, and Italian.

Alan Harrison.

Alan Harrison: Senior Consultant

Alan started in the insurance industry in 1985 with Lloyd's Broker Winchester Bowring where he spent three years dealing with APH reinsurance claims, also passing the Lloyd's Introductory Test and the CII Certificate of Proficiency during this period. He went on to spend nearly nine years with Denham Syndicate 990 dealing with both direct and reinsurance Non-Marine claims.

Following a period working in the Czech Republic and then a short period with Toa Re Underwriting Management dealing with credit control and commutations, Alan joined TurnStone in January 2002 and has since been involved in a number of high profile projects and has undertaken tasks within North America and Europe.

Megan Whiteman.

Megan Whiteman: Junior Auditor

Megan joined TurnStone in July 2008. She is responsible for the TurnStone Audit Reserving anaylsis (TARA) database and also is currently being trained on the insurance and reinsurance business. She will take this further to become an auditor for TurnStone in the future. Megan has prior experience in accounting and business account management, she brought these skills to the company and is now in charge of TurnStone's accounts.
