TurnStone was established in April 2001 by Steve Bond, its present Managing Director, to be an independently owned Service Provider devoid of corporate conflicts.
The specialist Audit and Inspections area (TAIL) was the first to begin trading in August 2001; in December of that year Robert (Bob) Floate joined TurnStone Group as Chief Executive Officer, assisting Steve in taking TurnStone into the London Market, the United States, and worldwide.
April 2005 saw the formation of TurnStone Translation Solutions Ltd. (TTS) to provide language services to TurnStone Group and thus extend the audit and inspections services offered to the Insurance and Reinsurance industries. Employing translators with legal, technical and engineering backgrounds, TurnStone Translation Solutions also offers a specialist service to the insurance and reinsurance industry and adds strength to the TurnStone Group of companies, making it possible for TurnStone Audit & Inspections to carry out its work in a variety of non English-speaking countries in Europe and beyond.
2008 Brought a new era into effect with the formation of the strategic alliance with Midlands marking a new milestone in the development and business prospects of the company.
