TurnStone Translation Solutions was set up in 2005 to provide translation and linguistic support for the activities of the other companies in the TurnStone Group in their insurance-related work outside Britain, and to cater to the needs of professional legal, accountancy, and financial firms and businesses in the City of London and UK, as well as other areas of technical translation.
Our principal areas of expertise cover insurance, finance, and law, but our team of experienced professional translators and writers also covers all major areas of services and manufacturing including engineering, IT, localisation, and telecommunications.
Our principal languages include the languages of Britain's principal trading partners in and beyond Europe, such as French, German, Spanish, Italian, in addition to languages with "difficult" scripts and writing systems such as Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, and Hebrew. We can translate materials in a wide range of formats (doc, pdf, xls, ppt, and so on) into and out of English and between other languages, and can also travel with your staff to provide active language support during their foreign trips, with consecutive interpretation during business meetings and meals, and document translation as needed.
Recent jobs in the field of insurance include cover-holder reviews in Spain and France, 2 commutations in Spain for Lloyd's Syndicates, on-going translation of claims reports from Latin-American cover-holders and loss adjuster reports, for the London market.
Outside the field of insurance, we work with law firms to translate all kinds of legal contracts for example, for property sales and provisions of services, court documents in relation to civil and criminal action, and intellectual property and patent-related suits, and we have conducted multilingual internet searches in support of insurance-related litigation and arbitration.
We also provide support for e-discovery in relation to insurance disputes in U.S. Courts.
In the financial field we have translated annual financial statements following the new IFRS standards, and annual reports and prospectuses for investment funds.
